The developers who will be "un-replaceable" in 2027 aren't the ones who know the best prompts.

They’re the ones who can walk into a room of panicked stakeholders during a system collapse and say, "I know exactly why this is happening, because I understand the foundation it was built on."

So, keep your ChatGPT subscription. But for the love of the craft, stop using it as a brain replacement. Close the tab.

Open a blank file. And write some code you actually understand.
